LOSING LILY
LOSING LILY, a work-in-progress intimate chamber opera (set in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese), is a project created by a collective team of passionate and established Singapore artistes with the support of National Arts Council Singapore and Arts Fund.
The phase one creation of this opera, titled: A Day A Lily, is a twenty-minute documentary film which will be featured at this Symposium. It was screened at the National Museum of Singapore with great success in June, 2022. The team looks forward to staging the complete opera, titled: Losing Lily, in August 2024. The objective of this opera project is to heighten the awareness about Dementia, an incurable disease and its social impact.
